Today, I leave to Delhi, India for two weeks. I return on April 7th. The trip couldn’t have come at a better time. I just finished Winter finals and wrapped up an exciting consulting assignment for Sacramento’s leading newspaper.
Now with the Winter quarter behind me I can focus my undivided attention on the marketing research that I’ll be doing in Northern India (in Delhi) Simultaneously, a close friend of mine (Dewey P.) will be in Bangalore (Southern India) conducting market research too. Have a safe journey Dewey and thanks for the phone.
Having read so much about India, it’s hard not to be excited right now. It’s hard not be be excited about the people, the food, the old versus the new, the history and the economic transition and transformation that’s happening to the world’s largest democracy: India.
So where will I be staying? I’ll be within stone throws distance from Connaught Place. I’m staying at a budget hotel called Ajanta, in one of their semi-business suites. Hopefully, I’ll have time to visit the Taj Mahal, in Agra, sometime this week or next.
While I’m away in India, I just hope that my stomach can handle the gastronomic spices and potent flavors that I’m going to indulge in.
