Bebo’s doors are closed….


I received an email from Bebo’s VP of Marketing two days ago regarding their developer’s program.  It appears that only a handful of developers are part of their beta-developer program and the doors are closed for new developers - including us.  Of course, I’m not happy - but we’re deep in developing in Facebook at the moment.

    Looks like You And Me & Happy Pills lost their steam huh? Active users dropping fast.

    Thanks Koti for bringing that to our attention, yeah - that's part of the gamble. Facebook's microenvironment is becoming even more competitive and highly saturated. Time to go back to our playbooks, however, I'd hardly call almost 20,000 daily active users for the past two weeks losing steam. That's 600,000 unique visitors per month!! Just of Happy Pills; however, we know that the first movers are the big winners in this space. This means, niche plays for the rest of us! Happy Hacking!!
