					<description>Hi Jo, I'd say that 95% of the female population here still wears saris and are NOT Americanized; however, the younger, upper-middle class to rich wear modern attire and not saris, for the most part.  Keep in mind that the majority of India is still by and large poor, extremely poor.  I will write more and post pics when I return.</description>

					<description>I heard from a friend who just went there that Indian gals no longer wear saris anymore if at all and everyone is 99% Americanized these days. 

I wonder if that's true, do blog about your trip! I want photographic proof. ^_^</description>
